Skjelmose Jensen rides into the yellow jersey

The fourth stage of the SkodaTour LuXembourg featured a 26.1 km long time trial with the start and finish in Remich. In partly rainy weather conditions, Mattias Skjelmose Jensen (TFS) won with 3” ahead of Kévin Vauquelin (ARK) and 13” ahead of Morten Hulgaard (UXT).

Skjelmose Jensen has also taken over the overall leader’s yellow jersey from Valentin Madouas (GFC), who finished 39” behind.

Mattias Skjelmose Jensen: “To be honest, I haven’t felt that good in the past few days. I think the last riders were all riding in the same conditions. You had to be a bit careful sometimes, but it could have been worse with the wet roads. Tomorrow, of course, I want to defend the yellow jersey. But the competitors have been very strong in the last couple of days.”
