Spectacular Finale at Vianden Castle

Considered the queen stage of this year’s edition, this third day will take the peloton across demanding terrain before a spectacular finish at Vianden Castle. After setting off from Mertert, the riders will face the climbs of Beaufort and Munshausen, followed by the Spuerkeess Bonus Sprint located 52.4 km from the finish.

The finale promises to be relentless: three successive ascents of the Niklosbierg within the last 50 kilometers will leave no room for error. This selective circuit is expected to spark a true battle among the favorites and drastically reduce the number of contenders for overall victory. The arrival in the medieval courtyard of Vianden Castle will mark one of the highlights of the race and deliver unforgettable images. Whoever wins here is a strong favourite for overall victory.
